On a side note, if you can find the original ZiNc (or S11emu?) ROM set of Tekken 2 Ver.B, tk2b, it will have an aptly-named "eeprom" file inside it. Regardless of the setting, Devil (or "Angel", who lacks her name in the arcade version) will always face Jun on stage 9 (never Baek). If all characters have already been unlocked, it also means that Wang will face Baek, and Jun will face Law. This will also affect the mid-boss battles on stage 8: Selecting Law will make you face Jun instead of Baek on stage 8, and Baek will face Wang instead of Law. Note that the PlayStation version, and the arcade port included in Tekken 5 on PS2, removed these codes entirely.įor a quick "cheat", you can also change the game options to select Baek in place of Jun for an 11th character. For example, on the character select screen, putting the cursor on Lei, pressing start 4 times and then moving right will make the computer select Bruce. Note that the hidden character cheats doesn't permanently unlock the character like UMK3 for example, it simply lets you play as them. A few early FAQs showed most of them but not for all characters I suppose someone could go through the program code to figure out the remaining ones. Tekken 2 has some cheats to play as hidden characters, similar to Kombat Kodes, but I don't know every single one. I was wondering, doesn't cheat do the job ?
